Coconut Coated Pineapple Pancakes. If you like piña coladas…but, really everyone was saying it taste like a piña colada, a virgin piña colada. The “grown ups” ate them as pictured and the children ate them topped with coconut nicecream. No sugars and no maple syrup needed. Although they can be served for breakfast or any meal of the day we prefer them for our after dinner dessert.
Yogi bowl…buddah bowl…pixie perfection?!? How bout we call it super simple, full of protein, good carbs and fresh veggies. Who could ask for anything more? While this is mostly a dinner “bowl” in our home they can be enjoyed for any meal. They are easy to prep, prepare, keep warm and save for leftovers.
As of late smoothies have become more than just once a day meals or snacks. It could be due to the warm temperatures or the ease of throwing fruits and veggies into a blender and having an instant meal. OR it could be because we have two little humans living in the house who are loosing their baby teeth like crazy!

After making a sharp, squealing turn into the farmers market parking lot drawn by the “Fresh Local Strawberries” sign we made it out of the car and started our journey, stopping at EVERY.SINGLE. BOOTH. That’s how we roll, I guess. I would have been happy to grab the berries and head back to the car
Citrus in a smoothie! Really? I had to give this one a shot . After all, I have a serious orange loving little fruit bat in my house. Not to mention so many of my friends on Facebook and Instagram have been telling me how the sweet and tangy addition of the oranges really make for an amazing smoothie.
